By copying the sybols from the matzevot we learned their meaning. The most popular sign on the cemetery in Narewka is a star of David, as well as the symbol of a hand. Mrs Katarzyna Bielawska explained us the meaning of the particular symbols, and told us about the others, less common ones, which one might find on a Jewish cemetery.
Participating in this event were the students from the School Tourist Circle, supervised by Mrs Alina Leszczuk, and School European Club led by Mrs Alina Rosińska.
