2025-06-02 Kraśnik - Students and Officials Are Cleaning the Jewish Cemetery
On 30 May 2025, students from T. Kościuszko High School in Kraśnik cleaned up the local Jewish cemetery. Also taking part in the work were: Jarosław Stawiarski, the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship; Zbigniew Dżugaj, the Head of Kraśnik County; Krzysztof Staruch, the Mayor of Kraśnik; Artur Domański, the Head of the Kraśnik Municipality; Prof. Sabina Bober, from the Section for the Study of the Extermination of Polish and European Jews at the Catholic University of Lublin; and technical staff from the Kraśnik municipal office. The effort was coordinated by Mariusz Bieniek, a teacher. » back
