As a result of joint actions by FODZ, our partner organization in the USA, Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland (FJHP) and local authorities of the City of Zambrów a clean-up of part of the Jewish cemetery in Zambrów, at Łomżyńska Street was carried out recently. On 26 May 2021, FODZ representatives were received by the Mayor of Zambrów, Mr. Kazimierz Dąbrowski. The subject of the meeting was the prospect of cooperation between FODZ, FJHP and local authorities in the maintenance of the cemetery area and its conservation. Representatives of FODZ presented to the Mayor proposal for cooperation with the local authorities of Zambrów, as part of the Coalition of Guardians of Jewish Cemeteries in Poland. The results of the talks show that joint efforts to protect the cemetery at Łomżyńska Street will continue.
