On September 30, 2013, a ceremonial unveiling of a memorial plaque commemorating the synagogue of the Jewish community took place in Szczecinek. The ceremony was organized by the
Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and the Starost Office of Szczecinek.
