On July 8th, 2012 in Rzeszow, on the the 70th anniversary of the liquidation of the ghetto, the 70th annual March of Memory took place. The event was organized in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. The March commemorates thousands of Rzeszow Jews who were sent to death camps in July 1942. The participants of the March walked from the Staroniwa train station to the Ghetto Square.
