LIVING HISTORY. JEWISH HERITAGE AND THE HOLOCAUST
In 2010, the Foundation for Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and Peacework www.peacework.org have joined together to offer unique educational and service experiences around the Holocaust for American college and university students.

The project "Living History. Jewish Heritage and the Holocaust" was created for groups who wish to come to
Poland, explore its Jewish past and work for preserving the local Jewish heritage. Programs typically cover 7-14 days and provide a broad perspective on Jewish and European history, events that led to the horrors of the Holocaust, political dynamics in Eastern Europe since before World War II and from the Soviet period, and opportunities for students from Poland and the United States to know one another and work together to build a better future.
